Buster the Bus!

Buster the Bus is an interactive training tool that staff from the Davidson County Transportation Department uses to teach students about School Bus Safety.

During the presentation students learned about:
1) Behavior and loading practices at the morning bus stop
2) Sitting and behavior while in motion
3) Behavior at railroad crossing
4) Behavior and unloading practices upon arrival at school
5) Behavior and unloading practices at the afternoon bus stop
6) How to evacuate the bus if ever needed

Even if your child does not ride a yellow school bus to or from school, they will at some point ride an activity bus on a field trip. This was a fun learning experience to help students understand how to be safe on a bus. We thank Rodney Sink and Dru Davis for bringing Buster to visit us!
