Gretchen Jacobs

I am so excited for the upcoming school year. I know it's going to be busy, but amazing! 

I began teaching in 1998 so this will be my 26th year at Pilot Elementary. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. The largest amount of my time has been spent in 3rd grade. I absolutely LOVE Pilot and all of the amazing families I've had the privilege of working with over the years.

I grew up in Davidson County and graduated from Ledford High School in 1994. I received my degree in Elementary Education at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

I am married with two children, Eli and Kylie. Both of my children attended Pilot. I am also expecting my first grandbaby in September!
