Davidson County's Giant North Carolina Map spent this week at Pilot School. The huge map was housed in the AIG/ESL room on Monday, and later was unfolded in the gym. Students were able to visit the map, walk around on it, and learn about many important landmarks, large cities, and important facts about our state. Some activities were conducted with Chromebooks and iPads. Other classes worked with grid coordinates to find locations on the map. Thank you to Sue Tobin for helping with some of our classes, and to our county for purchasing this great learning tool!
