Welcome to Fourth Grade!
I am excited to begin the 2023-2024 school year at Pilot Elementary School. I look forward to seeing some familiar faces and meeting new ones.
Teaching children is a tremendous responsibility, and I will do my best to ensure that each student has a safe and motivating learning experience this upcoming year. However, I cannot do this without the help of you, the parents. We are partners in the learning process. I believe that parent-teacher relationships are necessary for school success. The school day begins at 8:00. If your child arrives late, you are required to sign your child in at the office. We will begin our math block at 8:05. When your child arrives late, he/she is missing core instruction. Please make sure your child arrives on time.
A little information about me. This is my twenty-eight year teaching at Pilot Elementary. During those years I have taught kindergarten through fifth grades. I graduated from Marshall University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.
