I have been teaching for over 17 years in public and private schools! and  now have experience with all grades K - 6! Exciting times are ahead for us ALL!! I taught 2nd grade at Pilot several years ago and looped to third with them!! I have moved many times moved my teaching career, my husband was in medical school at ECU! I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I have two sons, One in college. And one prepping for medical school now. My husband is a retired physician in the community. My goal this year is for your child to come to the virtual academy each and every day  excited and ready to LEARN something new!! We all learn differently and in different ways.  In our class this year, we are falling in love with failure and learning so much from our mistakes and turning them into OPPORTUNITIES!!
